DescriptionSeveral young women in black uniforms with white starched aprons - likely dining room staff. Sheila Meyer's name appears in a register of salaries paid to staff, which indicates that she started working at the Boarding House in January 1939 worked until at least the end of 1944. The register ends that year so it's unknown how long she worked at MLC.
Sheila is in the front, middle, with other woman's arms at her waist. Her family thinks that the other woman is her friend, Olive. Staff lists indicate three Olives working at MLC at that time = Olive Rixon, who worked the entire time that Sheila Meyer was at MLC, Olive Brown (left 1940) and Olive Schram (left 1941).
