DescriptionCopy of note which reads as follows: "Mrs Campbell. I understand that some girls in Form III.J have been calling out to the workmen on the wall. Please remind them that this is most improper. A.H.W."

Donated by her daughter, Judy Balcombe. Judy's accompanying note states: "As promised, here is the note which Dr Wood sent to my Mother, urging her to control her unruly students. Mum always said she wasn’t fond of teaching adolescents. She left her teaching job at MLC to complete a law degree and then taught law students thereafter, finding them more focussed and respectful!"
