DescriptionLarge group of students of different ages seated at long tables (presumably in Boarders' Dining Hall), wearing party hats and fine dresses. Five young girls sitting on floor at front of photo. Room decorated with streamers, and cakes can be seen on the table. Rev Dr Fitchett and a female figure can be seen standing at back of the room on the right.

On verso are hand-written lists of the students who lived in the various sections of the boarding house with references to Hostel, North House, Bottom Flat, Top Flat, Blue Dorm, White Dorm, Annex.

Donated by Helen Fraser whose mother attended MLC. Awaiting confirmation of mother's name but "L. Collett" is written on verso of this and another photo. Lorna Collett attended MLC 1923-24 and was a boarder although her name is not recorded on the above lists.
