Marjorie attended MLC 1916 to 1921. She was senior prefect in 1920 and was part of the group of prefects that raised money for the Krome Gates. She sadly died in 1921. Her father, Rev John Thomas, attended the dedication of the gates in 1923 and appears in a photo with Rev Dr Fitchett. It is possible that her mother was also an old collegian: Emma Mountjoy (1883) is purported to have married a Rev J. Thomas but further research is needed to verify if there is any connection.
