BiographyDebbie Dunwoody is an Australian educator and school leader who served as Principal of MLC from late 2012 to 2013.
Dunwoody had an established career at MLC prior to her appointment as principal. She joined the College in the 1990s and held several senior leadership roles, including Director of the Marshmead outdoor education campus, Head of Middle School, and later Vice Principal. Her work at MLC contributed to the development of programs focused on experiential learning, student leadership, and engagement with Indigenous communities.
In September 2012, Dunwoody was appointed acting Principal and subsequently Principal and Chief Executive Officer for a transitional period. Her leadership occurred during a time of organisational change, and she was responsible for maintaining continuity and stability within the College community.
